Hawthorn Community Education Centre

(Hawthorn Community Education Project Inc.)

The Hawthorn Community Education Centre provides educational programs for older people and less mobile and housebound people of all ages. Participants are encouraged to design, manage or conduct courses that suit their own needs and additionally have a link to the wider community. The programs foster a positive view of ageing and disability. Through the pursuit of intellectual activities people are actively contributing to their own and community wellbeing.

Visitors are welcome to call in at the Centre for more information between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. For those who find it hard to get out and about, home visits can be arranged.
